As a huge Kate Spade fan I was ecstatic when I first heard of the launch of Kate Spade's Saturday, a more affordable line extension of Kate Spade.
I didn’t know what to expect from this line at first, would it be more of an outlet/factory style or something completely different? After viewing the products and reading Saturday’s manifesto - Putting our own spin on casual, we’re channeling the carefree spirit of the weekend and bringing it to every day of the week with smart silhouettes, honest fabrics, and a sense of spontaneity - it’s safe to say that Saturday has stepped out from the Kate Spade shadow.
The patterns are eclectic and the colors vibrant with more of a young and carefree feel compared to the polished and sophisticated look of traditional Kate Spade frocks. While I’m still a Kate Spade tech accessories and jewelry loyalist I’m drawn more to the clothing from this line and hey, my wallet will appreciate this as well!
Happy Friday everyone!
