It's no secret that we've had a particularly rough winter so far, and lucky for us we have about two more months to go. This weather combined with space heaters on full blast leaves my hair and skin feeling dry and flakey (gross). Over the years of living in the midwest I've managed to find a few products products that I swear by for combating the havoc that the winter season causes. The best part about all of the following products is that a little goes a long way. Although some may be pricier than others, they last forever.
Origins eye cream - This is a miracle product that depuffs and energizes your under eye in seconds. It's a year-round staple for me but with paler skin the dark circles seem to pop during this season. L'occitane body milk - It feels as good as it sounds. Sugar lip polish - I had never heard of exfoliating your lips before, and now I don't know how I ever lived without it. It's perfect for when lip balm isn't doing the trick, a must-have for any lipstick wearer during the winter months Kiehl's ultra facial cream - My usual moisturizer wasn't cutting it in these conditions, so I switched to Kiehl's for the dryer months. I was expecting it to feel heavy since it's a bit thicker than I'm used to but it doesn't, simply amazing. L'occitane hand cream - It keeps your hands from feeling rough and has a great fresh scent, a great product to keep at your desk. Aveda dry-remedy oil - I received a sample of this and this is my new favorite hair product. It tames my fly-aways, calms the static, and adds instant shine without feeling heavy like most hair oils feel.
