2014 - Year in Review

Wow, what a year! 2014 was a year full of many fun and exciting times and big changes.

Two words can describe early 2014, and all memories that I associate with January through April: polar vortex. It was a rough start to the first of the year, but the horrible temperatures made me appreciate Spring so much more once it finally came around. Spring highlights included an amazing bachelorette party in Vegas and Steve and I's first road-trip down south to Savannah and Nashville.

My best friend got married in May and it was a day that I know I'll never forget. I've never seen a more beautiful bride and it was great to celebrate my favorite couple with our closest friends.

Although I had only been in Louisville for 10 months, new job opportunities prompted our move to Chicago in August. I was sad to say goodbye to Louisville, but was ready to embrace everything that Chicago had to offer. Luckily, we were able to enjoy the city for a couple of months before the dreaded cold decided to return.

Last but certainly not least, we celebrated the end of 2014 the best way I could imagine...with a proposal. I am so excited to announce that we are engaged! 2014 has been a year to remember and I can only imagine what 2015 has in store for us!

Happy 2015!
