2015 was a busy, busy year. Planning a wedding and taking on a new job required just about 100% of my time, but somehow I found time to read a lot of great books along the way. Among these were...
The Good Girl // Forever Interrupted // Before I Go // Maybe in Another Life
Eight Hundred Grapes // Luckiest Girl Alive // The Likeness // In the Woods
Broken Harbor // Faithful Place // The Secret Place // Three Wishes
The best part is that I loved every, single one of them! If you're looking for recommendations look no further.
My absolute favorites of the year were from the Dublin Murder Squad series by Tana French. If you're into thrillers, crime drama or suspenseful books (like Gone Girl) you have to pick up this series. A few other thrillers that made the list were Luckiest Girl alive and the Good Girl.
After reading a lot of suspenseful, often scary, books I tried to lighten things up with picks from my "chick lit" to-read shelf. I discovered Taylor Jenkins Reid and absolutely loved Forever Interrupted and Maybe in Another Life. Highly recommend both of these!
Before I Go was a total tear jerker, and Eight Hundred Grapes was a great family drama read, especially if you love wine country.
What were your favorite books of the year? I'm always open to new suggestions!
