Let's be honest...while we all have good intentions when it comes to staying fit and healthy life tends to get in the way. Before you know it, happy hours turn into late night meals which ultimately ends up in you canceling your morning spinning class. Although my wedding is five months away, after Memorial Day I decided enough was enough and it was time to get serious about getting myself back on-track. Luckily, there are some great resources for doing just that. 

Sore to the Core: If you haven't heard of Alexa Jean Fitness programs I highly recommend that you check them out! They are super easy to follow and this particular challenge requires no equipment. The best part, you will see results FAST!

MyFitnessPal: MyFitnessPal is the best app to keep yourself accountable when it comes to food. Reaching for that chocolate brownie as an afternoon snack? You better log it in! Seeing those 400 calories disappear from my daily allowance after eating a delicious (but not filling) snack makes me think twice about reaching for that brownie next time. 

Fit Girl's Guide: The hardest part about staying fit is eating well. I've always been very active but when it comes down to it, pizza is my favorite food and I just can't say no. I also don't believe in depriving yourself or staying in instead of doing dinner with friends just because your on a diet. The solution to all of these problems is the "Fit Girl's Guide" 28 day jumpstart. The recipes are super easy to follow, and make, and everything tastes delicious! 

The results? I'm down 5 lbs as I approach week four of my 30 day jumpstart. More importantly, I feel great! Eating clean really does give you more energy and makes you feel so much better!
