I cannot believe that we've been married for four months! Time has literally flown by, and I'm finally ready to share bits and pieces of our wedding with you. Before we dive into the day itself, for all of the lovely brides-to-be, here is my biggest tip...
Stick to your gut. Do you have a vision for your wedding? Capture it and do not stray!
I created this mood board right after we got engaged and shared it with my vendors, parents, bridal party and whoever else would listen. I described my vision as garden romance, from the color palette to the florals and lighting, my goal was to perfect each detail to fit this overall look and feel. Any question that came up brought me back to this collection of images. Yes, I had a pinterest board too. But, honestly I found pinning made me more overwhelmed because there are so many ways that you can do things today.
So, fellow brides-to-be if you have a vision for your wedding capture it and capture it early! I would try to distill it down to 4 - 5 pictures max so you can keep things attainable. If a digital collage style doesn't suit you, there is always the tried-and-true method of cutting images out of magazines!
To see how everything turned out be sure to come back next Wednesday to see my second installment in the Wedding Wednesday series. If there is anything specific that you'd like to know, please feel free to email me or comment on this post!
